CAVTAT – DUBROVNIK BY BUS
There is regular bus connection between Cavtat and Dubrovnik. Bus is number 10. This trip takes about 40 minutes, and there are buses every hour from 5 am till midnight in winter time and during the summer season the bus connection is more frequent, in mornings every half an hour and the last bus leaves Dubrovnik at 1:30am. The bus company which operates in Dubrovnik and its region is Libertas. For actual bus schedule please check on www.libertasdubrovnik.hr The ticket costs 12 kuna one way, and can be bought only on the bus (you don't need to have exact amount). BUSES TO VILLAGES From Cavtat you can also get buses to the villages in Konavle hills, up and down side of the valley. Bus to Molunat and Vitaljina is 31 (down side), to Vodovađa is number 30 (up side) and to Duba is number 29 (Konavle hills). These buses operate about 4-5 times a day from each way and not operating on Sundays and Holidays. CAVTAT – DUBROVNIK BY BOAT The most beautiful way of visiting Dubrovnik from Cavtat is by boat. There are 4 boat companies which have regular lines from port of Cavtat directly to the old town of Dubrovnik. This trip takes about 1 hour or less, depending by which type of boat you are bounding with and a scheduled route. Each company has its own timetable operating from 8 am till 9 pm and during the main season even till midnight. One way ticket costs 50 kuna, but it’s cheaper if you buy return ticket of 80 kuna. If you take the return ticket, be aware that you have to use the same company to go back. You can buy ticket at the small ticket offices at the promenade or at our agency. |
