Buža – have a drink at hidden beach
Discover hidden gem in old town Dubrovnik. After visiting all Dubrovnik sites and wanting to enjoy in something special, go to the Buža Beach. It is spectacular. Buža in English is pronounced as Buzha and the beach is not be confused with Buža gate which is north entrance to the old town. A spot can be easily reached by going behind the Cathedral and taking up the stairs via street Pobijana till the end where you'll find little St. Stjepan door in the city walls. It brings you to Buža - a bathing spot on the stony slopes under the walls with breathtaking views to the white rocks, blue sea and Lokrum island in vicinity. During season months there is a beach bar open offering you refreshing cool drinks and chill-out music while in the evening it transforms into the romantic oasis. Enjoy diving off the sides of the rocks in unique place right behind the city walls and feel genuine tranquility as it is a great escape from the bustle of Dubrovnik.
Cavtat walking tour
This is a great way of spending a relaxing and negligent day while been in the place of current stay. Cavtat is a great place to get out and walk around. The best is to make a small sightseeing during morning hours. Walking around the old town the most important sights are St. Nicholas Parish church, Rector's Palace, Franciscan Monastery, Art Gallery Bukovac and Cavtat's emblem Mausoleum of Family Racic with local cemetery offering stunning views all over the area. Later you can take a swim on some of the numerous beaches, the most popular Kamen Mali, the biggest one Albatros beach, the sunniest south rocky beach of Hotel Croatia or the most convenient pebble beach Kljucice. We would recommend you to make a stop and take a lunch at Rokotin, small open-air restaurant hidden in pine forest offering great grill dishes.

After lunch be prepared for a fascinating stroll by the sea! You will definitely enjoy in long walks all around two peninsulas, inhaling pure Mediterranean air.
Explore Lopud

for a day Even just for a day it's worth to see day to day life in slow lane on a typical Dubrovnik island.

Lopud is a stunning island situated northwest of Dubrovnik and is one of thirteen islands of Elaphiti archipelago. It is located between Koločep and Šipan and is covered with lush Mediterranean and subtropical vegetation. The island has a coastline of 11,5 km, of which 1,2 km are sandy beaches. Today on Lopud  you can see numerous old Greek, Roman, Slavic and  early-medieval buildings and ruins.
The village of Lopud lies on northwest side and is surrounded by parks and gardens while offering   a sandy beach and a lovely view to Šipan. There is a  park  known as a former garden of a villa from the 19th century, where plants collected from all over the world such as bamboo and various types of cacti grow. It takes about 20 minutes walking from one to the other side of the island via hilly footpath that goes from the village to the beach Šunj. Alternatively you can arrange transfer by golf car for small fee. The Šunj-bay is famous for its gorgeous sandy beach filled with white sand. At this side of the island there are two beach restaurants and also sun beds and beach umbrellas for hire. The northeast side of the island is not easy accessible by the rocks and steep cliffs.
The island is an ideal spot for couples and families with children wishing to enjoy in peace and swimming pleasures. It is also very convenient, even just for a day trip as ferries leave from the ferry port Gruž on a regular basis that operate four times a day, starting at 10.00. The cost of one way ticket is just 18 kuna.

The Dubrovnik city walls with forts are the major attraction for visitors and one of the best preserved complexes in Europe. After visiting the walls what is must do; don't forget, to visit some other attractions as: Old Port and Porporela, Franciscan and Dominican Monastery, Sponza Palace, St Blaise Church, Rector's Palace, Cathedral within city walls and Lazareti (Quarantine) and Fort Lovrijenac just outside the old town.
Pasjača beach
Are you searching for the ultimate beach getaway? Although a little complicated to find Pasjača beach it is certainly well worth. Going to this unique place is easiest by car while there are just few buses a day. Once you have started your journey, you have to go towards to airport, pass it and turn right where is the sign for Popovići village. Popovići is a beautiful little village located in the middle of Konavle on the south side of the valley. The road to the beach is located on the right between houses just 100 meters before the local playground. When you get there our advise would be to ask someone local for directions.  Park at the bare end parking, take the steps down the cliffs and once you arrive to the beach you won't be disappointed. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and this long pebble beach offers beautiful view to the open Adriatic sea. For sun lovers the beach is relatively shady in the morning but the late afternoon gives full sun until it sets.
Important thing is to take water, food and all necessary things while here you'll find just pure nature. If you are staying in Cavtat this is a well worth as a day trip, pack a picnic, you'll have a great day.
Ston walls and wine tasting
This tour really gives you the chance to taste Dalmatia. There are two ways to do it, more simple to book an excursion or more interesting to rent a car and explore on your own.
Ston is known for the spectacular city walls, the second largest in the world right after The Great Wall. This small town has numerous cultural and historical monuments, and is one of the most beautiful examples of a fortified town and ancient Dubrovnik architecture. The Wall is 5.5 kms long complete with 40 towers and 5 forts offering amazing panoramic views. It has been open for visitors in Ocotber 2009 after eight years of intensive restoration work. The entrance to the wall is through the ticket office in a Gothic tower and exit from the tower over Barbant. The cost of the tickets are 30kuna/single and 20kuna/group. In the economic life of the Dubrovnik Republic, the production, transport and trade in salt occupied an extremely important position. This is why the walls were built - to protect the salt pans of Ston from barbars. The salt factory still works and it's open for visitors, with possibility of salt gathering in summer months. More information on the web site www.solanaston.hr .
Mali Ston is one of the most beautiful spots on the Pelješac peninsula known as the “oyster capital” of Adriatic. Main occupations of the region include oyster and see food farming, wine-culture, olive growing, fishing and tourism. The restaurants offer domestic specialties, especially world famous oysters, as well as other sea food.
This area has been known for ages of it's excellent red wines Postup, Dingač and Plavac, so we would highly recommend you to visit some of the private wine tasting cellars.
The whole area is just fantastic, unspoilt and lost in time, and worth visiting.
